Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project – a literal dream come true – Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school – archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.
But when her equipment starts to go missing and the staff ignore her, Bee could swear she sees Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas… devouring her with those eyes. The possibilities have all her neurons firing.
But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there’s only one question that matters: What will Bee Königswasser do?
Good old contemporary and casual enemies to lovers~
Red, White & Royal Blue by McQuiston, Casey
First Son Alex Claremont-Diaz is the closest thing to a prince this side of the Atlantic.
With his intrepid sister and the Veep’s genius granddaughter, they’re the White House Trio, a beautiful millennial marketing strategy for his mother, President Ellen Claremont.
International socialite duties do have downsides—namely, when photos of a confrontation with his longtime nemesis Prince Henry at a royal wedding leak to the tabloids and threaten American/British relations.
The plan for damage control: staging a fake friendship between the First Son and the Prince.
As President Claremont kicks off her reelection bid, Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret relationship with Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations. What is worth the sacrifice? How do you do all the good you can do? And, most importantly, how will history remember you?
I normally don’t read LGBT books (nothing wrong with it! Just not my reading preference), but I had to give this book a shot because of the hype.
I also kind of used that as a way to help me try to get out of my comfort zone to read LGBT books for the first time because I want to support it.
And I think it’s great! If you are like me and am looking to get into LGBT books to support them, this is a fantastic gateway work as an introduction to the genre.
Anna and the French Kiss
Can Anna find love in the City of Light?
Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection.
So she’s less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year.
But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the handsome Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he’s taken —and Anna might be, too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she’s waiting for?
Ah, a classic. This book was already a popular YA romance book when I was in middle school.
Now it’s not the best in quality per say, in fact I’ll say it’s quite meh in terms of its quality.
But that does not matter in this list! I am giving you a list of aesthetically pretty pink book covers, and look at this cover! It will look fantastic on your bookshelf.
Revenge of The Gods by Leia Stone, Jaymin Eve
After losing Cronus, Maisey had to make a choice; lay broken on the floor and sink into depression, or charge into the underworld and get her man back.
Not one to sit around, she and Hyperion waltz into Thanatos‘s office and demand the god of Death give them safe passage through the seven levels of the underworld to retrieve her love.
It seemed like a good idea at the time… but will Maisey be able to retrieve Cronus and resurrect him in time to finally take out Zeus?
Maybe if a huge wrench hadn’t been thrown in their plans.
#JustGoingToHaveToWingIt
I love Jaymin Eve’s books! If you are a common visitor of the blog, you will see I recommend her works a lot, and this series is no different.
Highly recommend if you a into Greek mythology romance except Kronos is the love interest (I know that’s weird but trust it’s so good).
As usual, her slow burn, enemies to lovers, and chemistry always delivers!
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
WORLDS KEPT THEM APART.
DESTINY BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER.
Aria has lived her whole life in the protected dome of Reverie. Her entire world confined to its spaces, she’s never thought to dream of what lies beyond its doors.
So when her mother goes missing, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland long enough to find her are slim.
Then Aria meets an outsider named Perry. He’s searching for someone too. He’s also wild—a savage—but might be her best hope at staying alive.
If they can survive, they are each other’s best hope for finding answers.
Ah, another classic. This was also another book I found in my middle school library years ago.
It’s one of the first post-apocalyptic and dystopian YA books I’ve ever read, and is also one of the first slow-burn enemies to lovers I’ve ever read.
It was definitely my introduction to the trope and genre.
This book is like a post-apocalyptic dystopian Romeo and Juliet enemies to lovers romance. One of my favourite series of all time! Strongly recommend.

Oh you want more? You want if it’s a Ouran Host Club English novel except it’s real reverse harem and the heroine actually ends up with all the guys?
Yeah I got your recommendation right here pal.

**

These Infinite Threads by Tahereh Mafi
With the heat of a kiss, the walls between Alizeh, the long-lost heir to an ancient Jinn kingdom, and Kamran, the crown prince of the Ardunian empire, have crumbled. And so have both of their lives.
Alizeh, the heir to the Jinn throne, is destined to free her people from the half-lives they’ve been forced to live under human rule. When Kamran, the heir to the human throne, falls in love with her, he’s forced to question everything he’s been taught about Jinn.
Kamran’s grandfather lays dead at the hand of Cyrus, ruler of the neighboring kingdom of Tulan. Cyrus has stolen Alizeh away to his homeland and plans to marry her there, giving her everything she needs to become the Jinn queen—and when she assumes the throne he will have fulfilled his own bargain with the devil.
Alizeh wants nothing to do with Cyrus’s deal or the devil. But without a way to escape Tulan, and with the fulfillment of her own destiny tantalizingly close, she’ll have to decide whether she can set aside her emotions to become the queen her people need.
Kamran, meanwhile, is picking up the pieces in Ardunia. Facing betrayal at every turn, all he knows is that he must go to Tulan to avenge his grandfather. He can only hope that Alizeh will be waiting for him there—and that she hasn’t yet become the queen of Tulan.
Full of explosive magic, searing romance, and heartbreaking betrayal, this breathtaking sequel to This Woven Kingdom is from the award-winning and bestselling author of the Shatter Me series and is perfect for fans of Leigh Bardugo, Sabaa Tahir, and Tomi Adeyemi.
Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy
I’m going to find my own true love even if it kills me.
You’d think being in charge of love would be an epic job, right?
Wrong.
Sure, I’m a cupid, so I can blow Lust into people’s faces and watch the show, but I can’t actually participate. It gets old, trust me. Same goes for love. I can pass it out like sugar-free lollipops at a dentist’s office, but I can’t get any for myself.
I’m stuck in this never-ending afterlife where I’m invisible, lonely, and bitter. And yeah, I’m probably responsible for some terrible matchmaking out there. But can you blame a girl?
Apparently, my cupid bosses can, because I get exiled to the fae world. And while I’m here, I accidentally attack a fae prince with Love Arrows. But hey, he deserved it.
What I didn’t expect was for him to retaliate and that I’d be pushed into the physical realm.
That’s right. This cupid just got a real body. And you know what that means. Now, it’s my turn to get some.
Love, I mean. Wink, wink.
Author’s This is a slow-burn why choose a fae-fantasy romcom, where the FMC will end up with multiple mates. This series is complete.
Elements of Mischief by Tate James, C.M. Stunich
Four hunky, supernatural plumbers.
One reluctant, slightly drunk human.
A match made in heaven… or in the bathroom, rather.
My name is Arizona Smoke, and I’m the proud owner of a house haunted by my dead Gram, best friend to a cocktail dress loving werewolf, and apparent soul mate to four plumbers who also happen to be elemental dragons. Besides rippling pectorals, tattoos, and… uh, nice, long pipes, the guys also have control of the elements.
Supernatural law (whoever heard of such a thing anyway?) dictates that since I stumbled upon the guys in their alternate forms, I have to marry them. All four of them. Oh, and apparently one lousy (okay, awesome) night of sex means that I’m an elemental, too — and no amount of magical penicillin can cure this disease.
All I wanted was hot running water and toilets that flushed, but now I’m dealing with monsters lurking in the sewers, supernatural politics, and four penniless (but totally hot) plumbers living in my crumbling old Victorian.
I’m Ari Smoke, wine aficionado, ex-barista, and a girl who is completely out of her element.
Having four hot husbands is nice… but the death threats, not so much.
Poison Roses by Jaymin Eve, Tate James
You know that saying, things can’t possibly get worse? They always can.
I thought I’d hit rock bottom when I turned sixteen. The day I broke my first love’s heart, ending things before I could ruin his career as a rock star.
But damn, was I wrong.
Things got progressively worse from that moment on, until now. Eight years later, when I find myself homeless, jobless, covered in blood, and running from a ghost of my past.
Angelo Ricci–the second boy I ever loved–knows I saw him shoot a man. He’s coming for me, has men out all over the city looking for me, and if they find me I’m as good as dead.
But I’m not giving up so easily. I’ll do whatever it takes to escape the Ricci family’s wrath, even if it means seeking sanctuary with the most unlikely, and unwilling of allies.
Bellerose is the hottest rock band in the world right now–in popularity and looks–and it’s just my luck that I stumble into their laps while running for my life. It’s not the best plan to hide out on their tour, but it’s the best I’ve got.
Except, the only person that Bellerose’s frontman hates more than Angelo Ricci… might be me. Too damn bad. Jace owes me. After all, I’m Billie Bellerose.
Poison Roses is book ONE of FOUR in the Boys Of Bellerose series. This is a mafia/rockstar reverse harem romance series with dark elements and gripping cliffhangers throughout.
