This week I’ve made some changes. I’ve officially updated my review (and review archive) formats, reorganized my blog menu/bar, and made some other designing/editing changes. Also, I have to give a shout-out to kimberly @ The Caffiented Book Reviewer, because I kept one of her reviews opened for an entire day as an inspiration for my new format. She’s also the reason I finally decided to create an index for my reviews: either by finding the book through titles or authors. Thanks Kimberly!
This might be stupid (and very not important), but I’m officially changing the default font for all my other posts from Helvetica Light to Futura Light. I feel like it fits my blog theme more, and just generally better looking. What fonts do you guys like to use for your blog posts?
I’ve been continuing in some of the blog memes, but this week I’ve decided to replace many of them with my own. I’ve created a weekly meme called Book Boyfriend Fridays, where every Friday we share our boyfriend for the week. And feel free to throw in one of your favorite of him if you’ll like. I will really appreciate if you’ll join with me on this. It’ll be so fun! Everyone is free to participate as long as you link it back to my blog.
I’ve also created Percy Jackson Mondays, where every Monday I basically just share a single meme or quote from Percy Jackson world that I loved, or answer the weekly question. I created this because as a Percy Jackson fan, I don’t really see a lot of actions based on it out there (no book tag or memes). So I decided to create my own! What do you guys think? (I’m a little bit nervous)
Then I created Quotey Tuesday, which will be my weekly meme for Tuesday until Top Ten Tuesday is back on (they’re taking a break right now until August).
I’ve got about a few more posts scheduled to be published – a.k.a I’m officially a blogger who has mastered the art of pre-scheduling posts! *screams*
Either way, WHEW it’s a busy week. And I am only going to get busier. Yay me~! ?

Books I Started This Week (Currently Reading):
This week is called “Dipping My Toes in Books I Never Though I Will Ever Read” for a reason. I finally read and finished books that had been on my radar for so long but NEVER read, read a book (Kindred) that I never thought I would read, and add a book that I came across so many times but finally added to my TBR list (Air and Ash and The Hating Game). The Hating Game also got me on my contemporary romance marathon, which is why I’m starting to read To all the Boys I’ve Loved by Jenny Han. Also, I finally started reading Half Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I had been uncertain about this book before which is why I never read it, but we’re about to find out the results.
Books I Finished This Week:
A lot of the ‘unexpected reads’ here that I mentioned is caused courtesy of author Rachel E. Carter. Her review got me to The Hating Game, and her strong recommendation to Air and Ash finally got me to check it out. So thanks Rachel! I also finally finished the Sweet Trilogy by Wendy Higgins! It did NOT disappoint, and wrapped up absolutely b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.y. Although the hate/love relationship was a slight disappointment, I still ended up falling in love with Anna and Kaiden, the story was so good that I find my self devouring the entire series. I might even write a review on it, so look out for that.
Also, finished 5 books for 7 days of a week. Not bad for an avid reader ?

5 Hilarious Book Memes of the Week:
This week’s theme is the resistance in buying books. We’ve all been through this. Enjoy.
I just want to say, that the reason I disabled my comments section is because I’m kind of self-conscious that no one will look at my blog, therefore no one will comment. It’s also the reason I never really ask readers to engage with me in my posts. It sounds stupid, I know, but it’s the truth. I will really appreciate if you guys will leave comments on some of the posts this week ?
There are a few posts this week (The First Guy V.S The Second Guy in Books and Dystopia V.S Science Fiction) that I’m kind of proud of (hehe), and would really love it if you guys check them out tell me what you think (I really want to know).
Also, I was wondering if you guys can kind of tell me your ‘blogger journey’. How long it took for you to achieve the success you hold today, and small stories of your blogger life.
Either way, this is still a great week. And from all the busy renovations I did with my blog this week, I realized that there is always something to improve and change with your blog.
Do you guys ‘change’ or update your blog often?
Oh and I can not believe I forgot to mention, but I’m getting the Court of Thorns and Roses coloring book!!! I absolutely LOVE that series (seriously it’s amazing oh my god), and I ordered it on book depository, which should arrive around next Friday. So on next week’s recap, I’ll be able to show it to you guys!
