This Week Recap #20: 2018, Christmas, Welcome back from Universal Studios!

Yes I’m BACK!!!! I have officially made my return.

While a lot of the other schools in my district is preparing their final exams, mine was already done in December. After a whole week of vacation and fun at Japan Osaka/Nambo/Kyoto and Universal Studios, I am officially going back to game mode.

And I brought pictures!

Japan was really fun, but one thing I noticed was that a lot of the facilities and activities was in Japanese, with no subtitles whatsoever. This makes sense actually, because the majority of visitors there was Japanese. This whole amusement park is hold up by Japan’s own population. And that’s…pretty impressive.

We went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, the Spider-Man ride, and the roller coasters ( Jurassic Park’s Flying Dinosaur and Hollywood Dream). The one thing that really bugged me was that I completely disregarded the Space Fantasy Ride (not knowing it was a ride), and went the stupid Terminator 2 and worthless fire thingie (Backdraft) instead. I’m still so pissed at myself about that. Terminator 2 was so outdated resulting it to be unable to compete with any of the other rides whatsoever, while the Backdraft one was just a plain waste of time.

But it was still so fun! Here are some of the pictures that I promised. One of the coolest parts of the trip was getting the Harry Potter Gryffindor scarf and the chocolate frog.
