Interview With Blogger Jordan Byers

What inspired you to become a blogger and what do you wish to accomplish with your blog?

I wanted to become a blogger, because I wanted to be able to share my style and passion with the world. I want my blog to be able to inspire other women out there, and truly be a positive platform for all ages and genders.

What is your blog mainly about, and do you enjoy what you do?

My blog is mostly about beauty and fashion, I occasionally venture out into the lifestyle type posts, but mostly stick to what I’m known for. I love everything about what I do. I also make youtube videos and the comment section on youtube is where I mostly connect with my viewers. That’s my favorite part of this job, is being able to talk to all the fabulous people that watch my videos and view my blog.

Have you written for any other websites or offline publications?

I have not written for any other websites or publications, so this is really special that I got this opportunity!

When did you start blogging?

I started blogging a little over a year ago.

What have you learned through blogging?

The most important thing I learned through blogging is to always stay positive. Posting on the internet for the world to see can sometimes bring in a bit of hate, therefore I always make sure I stay positive and true to myself no matter what people say.

How do you communicate with your followers? How much time do you usually spend on your blog?

I usually communicate with my followers through my youtube channel, tumblr, twitter, and snapchat. I usually always reply on those platforms. I usually am always working on a project for my blog/youtube so there’s barely any time you’ll find me not working, I’m a bit of a workaholic (not going to lie.)

How would you describe your blogging style?

I would say that my blogging style is very relaxed, almost as if I’m writing to a friend. I want my blog to be very open to all different kinds of people.

What tips would you give to blogger wannabes and young/new bloggers?

The biggest tip I would give any new blogger is to stay confident in your posts!
